To be honest, when I started using Counter, I didn't expect much. I don't get excited in a heavily saturated marketplace that is way too loud every time I look at my phone or walk through a store. It turns out what I needed was science in a bottle, with ingredients that cause a direct physiological response. I saw a noticeable difference in 24 hours. This balm is incredibly versatile. It's a cleanser, makeup remover, and can be used as an overnight mask. It improves the texture of my skin visibly, but mostly I love the way it feels.
Certain ingredients cause a physiological response in skin cells. Peptides are one such ingredient. This formula is great for activating collagen and elastin production aging skin as well as protecting cell function in younger skin. I had visible results within days.
My go-to lip balm! it feels so lovely, conditions my lips all day and makes them look supple and soft. Some days call for a wisp of color, on other days, my own glow makes me feel good.
Vitamin C is another active ingredient, causing a physiological response in skin cells, they become active in the way that is stimulated by the ingredient. The challenge with Vitamin C is stability. Many claims are made about its benefits, but if it's not in stable form, it degrades quickly and becomes useless. Counter's serum provides to separate stable forms, and instantly brightens dull skin tone.
Moisturizer? Yes. Foundation replacer? Yes. SPF 20? Also yes. This is a daily go-to for me. Hectic mornings are made easier with as a finishing step after my skincare. A little mascara and I'm out the door.
